Badesi, the California of Northern Sardinia
Badesi, famous for its long white sandy beaches overlooking the crystal clear sea of the Gulf of Asinara, is a small, bustling town in northern Sardinia.
The area around Badesi was declared an independent municipality in 1969 and extends to the banks of the Coghinas River, a natural border between Gallura and the Anglona region.
The beauty of the beaches and the dunes in the shade of the beautiful juniper trees fascinate tourists and visitors alike;
this is especially thanks to the warm hospitality of the locals. Overall, Badesi has an exceptional tourist vocation, which over the years has led to the development and expansion of services and resorts for families, beach hotels, kiosks, clubs and many water activities, making a vacation in this corner of northern Sardinia a unique experience every summer becomes.

Nobody stays at home with us
The summer school was organized by the team of the professorship “Economics of Sustainability” under Prof. Dr. Jantje Halberstadt at the University of Vechta. Prof. Halberstadt's team will also carry out the implementation, with students being the main target group. At the University of Vechta, the Summer School is offered as a seminar in the profiling area, so that students there have the opportunity to take an examination and earn credits. Basically, the Summer School team decided to open the event to all interested parties and thus to give many people access to the exciting topics of "Entrepreneurship & Sports" and of course to intercultural exchange under the warm Sardinian sun. That means that we, for example, students from other universities, people who want to spend their vacation in a different way or people who have just finished school and are now looking for thematic inspiration for their further career path. Summer School '21 Workshops
Overview of the offered summer school workshops
Workshop 1
„Chaotic Brainstorm“
In some cases, well-structured processes may reach their limits or are not as fast and efficient as the “just do it” approach. For this reason, the respective groups in this workshop should give their thoughts free space without any stipulations of processes or boundaries. The workshop guides will take on the task of keeping minutes and at the end of the summer school it will be jointly analyzed how the different approaches have worked in comparison and how the results can be assessed.
Workshop 2
„Get an Understanding and Define“
In this workshop we want to follow the content of the first two steps of the Design Thinking process. The aim of this session should be to understand the entire cosmos of action of the cooperation partner, e.g. overall situation, work processes in the organization, target groups, etc., and finally to clearly define the problem for which solutions or ideas are then to be developed.
Workshop 3
„Ideation“
Based on the previously clearly defined problems, solution ideas are to be developed in this workshop. The workshop guides will guide the entire process so that all participants get a clear picture of the methodology and at the same time can concentrate on the creative process.
Workshop 4
„Decision Making & Implementation Guide“
As a result of the great creative work in Workshop 3, a long list of possible solutions (suggestions for improvement, new ideas, etc.) was created. The first part of this workshop is now about developing a group-internal idea evaluation system and then selecting three ideas on this basis, which are to be concretized in the further course of the summer school. We want to start this process at the end of this workshop session.
Workshop 5
„Implementation Guide Lab“
The aim of this workshop is to translate the selected ideas into clear recommendations for action for the cooperation partner. For this purpose, the groups will develop a structure that will then be filled with content in the further course.
Workshop 6
„Visualisation & Pitch-Training“
At this point in time, all groups had developed innovative ideas for the cooperation partner and translated them into clear recommendations for action that corresponded to the partner’s resources. These results are to be presented to the cooperation partner at the end of the summer school. Therefore, the workshop guides in this session will introduce the participants to food for thought on the subject of visualization and conduct pitch training. This then lays the foundation for great final presentations of the summer school.

The EYE Sport brand, distributed by Double A Srl, has been present on the international market since April 2006.
Sport - Dinamo Sassari
Polisportiva Dinamo, commonly known as Dinamo Sassari and currently known as Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari for sponsorship reasons, is an Italian professional basketball club based in Sassari, Sardinia. They are the current European Cup champions. The club plays in the Italian LBA, the highest club competition in Italian professional basketball.
